Check out the latest happenings at Macrosystems and significant advances in the world of technological innovation.

Macrosystems celebrated the initial Beta “sneak peek” of FlyAwake Version 2.0, containing many user interface and performance enhancements for the ultimate ease-of-use.

Included in the latest version of the fatigue mitigation application are a complete site redesign, auto-optimization, drag/drop capability, multi-view comparison and faster calculations. Macrosystems carefully crafted usability for the system around the needs of its end users, with painstaking consideration of the long-term goal: identify, assess and mitigate risk.

Originally developed under the Air National Guard SEF leadership team (ANG/SEF), the FlyAwake fatigue mitigation program is now sponsored by OSD’s DSOC (Defense Safety Oversight Council) in order to expand the benefits military-wide. The FlyAwake application is available for all Government agencies and military flying units in order to provide mitigation strategies in the air, on the ground or at sea.

Whether you are a flight surgeon, physiologist, scheduler, controller, pilot, Safety Officer or any military personnel performing daily work activities, fatigue remains a formidable enemy to overall safety and cognitive performance. While full operational capability is scheduled for the end of 2009, Macrosystems continues to engage with Test Wings for feedback and direction in order to ensure overall success.
Macrosystems competed for and won a spot among two other vendors for a National Guard Recruiting and Retention contract valued at $450 million. This contract will provide services to conceive, develop, implement, and integrate recruiting, retention and attrition management programs for the National Guard.

Based on prior engagement with the Air National Guard Recruiting and Retention Program, resulting in the highly successful launch of goang.com, Macrosystems is poised for offering the same quality, value and technological innovation for the National Guard. As part of the growing portfolio of web-based programs that serve the dynamic spectrum of needs within the military, this is a very exciting opportunity for Macrosystems. Not only will Macrosystems have a chance to spread its wings as a small innovative business, but offer high-quality solutions within a rapid development cycle.

The overall objective of this program is to ensure development of technical solutions that meet the ongoing challenges faced by currently serving Soldiers and their families, potential candidates and all of the support networks that contribute to the long-term safety, training and ultimate success of the National Guard.
